Sam joined Tavendale + Partners after nearly a decade working for Banking & Finance teams at leading international law firms Linklaters, Norton Rose Fulbright and most recently with Ashurst, both in the UK and Europe.
Sam has strong experience in property, corporate and acquisition finance and has advised on financings across a wide range of asset classes, including commodities, aircraft and renewable energy projects. His international background provides clients with valuable insight into complex financing structures and cross-border transactions.
His recent experience includes advising lenders financing a sovereign wealth fund’s acquisition of solar assets in Spain, advising a Portuguese borrower on an IFC loan with credit support from subsidiaries in Africa and advising a renewables company on an acquisition and development financing for biomethane plants in Spain and Italy. Sam brings this international perspective to the team and to clients.
