Richard Rodden

Richard advises both corporate and private clients on all aspects of their property portfolios including the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, commercial leasing, subdivisions and due diligence investigations.

Richard is a leading expert on the Public Works Act. He represents landowners affected by land acquisitions under the Act, advising them throughout the acquisition process and ensuring fair compensation from the Crown. Richard’s experience in this area is underpinned by a previous role as Senior Corporate Counsel for The Property Group (TPG) where he advised a large team of property consultants, planners and development managers and assisted the Crown and Councils in respect of large-scale infrastructure projects across New Zealand.

Richard is a highly skilled negotiator and a trusted advisor to his clients. He works closely with his clients to add value and achieve pragmatic and value adding solutions.
