Leandra is an experienced commercial and property lawyer with a passion and expertise for supporting businesses in the Primary industry sectors. She has vast experience working closely with a variety businesses during all stages of their growth cycle, with specialist expertise in venture capital and private equity.
Leandra has had a varied career in New Zealand and the UK and has worked in both private practice and as an In-house Lawyer. Leandra is a trusted advisor and brings her vast commercial and real-world business experience to provide pragmatic commercial solutions for her clients. Leandra has a keen interest in corporate governance and has held a number of Directorships supporting SMEs. She is currently a Director of New Zealand Fruit Tree Company Limited and Agri Water Services Limited.
Leandra is passionate about community and has been actively involved in the Mid Canterbury community over a number of years, in a range of roles supporting the Not- For-Profit sector. She is currently Chairman of the Ashburton Aquatic Park Charitable Trust, a member of the Lake Hood Water Quality Taskforce, a Trustee of the Longbeach School Board of Trustees, a Trustee of the Community Trust Mid and South Canterbury, and Director of the Mid Canterbury Rugby Union.
