Henry Moore

Henry brings unparalleled expertise in the sports sector, advising athletes, sporting bodies and national organisations on integrity matters including doping, match-fixing, on-field and off-field conduct, disciplinary matters and employment-related disputes. He also regularly assists organisations with workplace investigations, compliance, governance, independent reviews, and the development of policies and procedures. Recognised for his strategic insight, practical advice and strong advocacy, Henry is a trusted adviser on complex and sensitive matters requiring careful judgment and robust decision-making.

Additionally, Henry has negotiated collective agreements for major New Zealand sports codes advised on the structuring and commercialisation of collective athlete image rights, and assists organisations with the governance and commercial structuring of sporting competitions, ventures and strategic initiatives. He has delivered anti-corruption education programmes, and served on key advisory boards including chairing the Triathlon New Zealand Independent Selection Commission, and serving on Yachting New Zealand's High Performance Advisory Group. He is also an Associate Member of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ), reflecting his experience in mediation, complaints handling and dispute resolution.

Before joining the firm, Henry was a founding member of the Sports and Recreation Complaints and Mediation Service (SRCMS), where he played a pivotal role in resolving disputes across the sports sector. During this time, he contributed to the New Zealand Sport Integrity Working Group, helping shape integrity measures across the sports system.
