Guy is a Business and Strategy Advisor in the wider Commercial practice, working closely with the Banking & Finance team. He specialises in financing farm purchases, supporting business expansions, and negotiating with banking partners to assist clients structure transactions that support sustainable growth.
With a background in Agri Banking, Guy brings highly valued experience navigating complex and high-risk financing situations across a diverse range of clients, from large corporates to smaller farms. This experience gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of finance, strategy and business operations.
Guy also advises on wealth transfer, supporting clients with asset portfolios ranging from under $5 million to over $50 million to ensure the smooth transition of intergenerational wealth whilst protecting intergenerational assets.
Raised on a sheep and beef farm in Whanganui, he brings lived experience to his advice.
